Pathway to Thrive Psychotherapy
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with a background in psychodynamic psychotherapy — the kind of work that goes beyond managing symptoms to understand the patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape us.
I work with adults who are doing well by most measures and still carrying something they can’t quite name. Often, they are in their 30s, 40s, or 50s navigating a gap between the life they’ve built and the life that feels genuinely theirs. This work asks harder questions. I think that’s exactly what this approach is for.
I bring both professional training and my own lived experience to this work. I’ve navigated anxiety, depression, and postpartum mental health challenges — not as a footnote to my credentials, but as part of what taught me that depth matters.
I’ve also lived across multiple countries, which shaped a deep sensitivity to culture, identity, and the complexity of belonging somewhere. As someone with mixed heritage, I carry more than one story of survival and resilience — and I bring that understanding into this work when it’s relevant to you.
I understand what it feels like to look outward and wonder if the inner life matches.
Kintsugi: The Practice of Repairing Broken Pottery with Gold
My approach is psychodynamic — which means we explore the unconscious patterns, early relationships, and experiences that quietly run the show in your present life. This isn’t about uncovering the past for its own sake. It’s about understanding how the past shows up today — in your relationships, your choices, the voice in your head — and creating genuine space to change.
The relationship we build in therapy is itself part of the work. When you feel truly seen in that space, something begins to shift. I bring curiosity, warmth, and directness. I’ll follow your lead on pace, and I’ll also gently challenge what deserves to be challenged.
