Hi. I’m Tami.
I deeply understand what it’s like to struggle emotionally. Working through my own mental health challenges, motherhood, and juggling work-life balance, I have experienced what it’s like to feel lost, afraid, and powerless. Healing is possible. I personally discovered the transformative power of therapy.
After 20+ years working in the corporate world, I was finally able to achieve my dream of helping others. Now, my mission is to help people regain trust in themselves and empower them to create a life that’s aligned with their truth: their values, goals, and aspirations.
To me therapy is like the Japanese art form, Kintsugi, where broken pieces of pottery are reassembled using gold. It inspires the idea that we can create stronger, more beautiful pieces of art by embracing imperfection. Every person’s unique struggles and experiences have helped shape who they are today. Even though we may feel broken at times, we can learn to put ourselves back together again in a personally meaningful way.

My background and approach
With five years of dedicated study as a psychotherapist, I’ve worked to develop the skills to help others on their unique path to wellness.
My background is a type of talk therapy focused on relationship patterns, exploring early childhood, and emotions and their expression, to better understand the unconscious patterns people may have developed over time.
I also incorporate creative exercises to help uncover new areas (art, value sorting, etc.), share some practical tools like cognitive behavioural therapy techniques and mindfulness approaches, offer helpful information that can benefit you, and work with dreams to help uncover thoughts and feelings that can lead to “a-ha” moments. It’s all about meeting you where you’re at.
When we seek growth and change, the path ahead may seem overwhelming. However, a well-known Chinese proverb states that “[a] journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. Reach out now to begin your healing journey.
