How do I know if therapy is for me?
Therapy is an important investment in yourself. If you’re struggling with grief, overwhelming emotions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loneliness, stress, emptiness or lack of motivation – therapy may be an important tool to support your healing and improve your quality of life. Therapy can help you become aware of patterns that no longer serve you, understand yourself better, find more balance, peace or a greater sense of purpose, and acquire the tools and skills to thrive.
The effort you put in is important. The goal isn’t to push for quick fixes, but to gently support and guide you toward insights and perspectives that may help you navigate life’s complexities and find deeper meaning, and to practice the skills to help you cope and become more resilient.
What is therapy like?
I work alongside you to find clarity together. Our work will focus on relationship dynamics, exploring the past and early childhood, emotions and their expression, and dreams and defenses, to better understand the unconscious patterns you may have developed over time.
My approach is anchored in providing a safe, warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment to help you feel understood. I’m here to help you navigate through life’s uncertainties and help you discover and reaffirm the strength and resilience within you in alignment with your values, goals, and dreams.
How long is a session?
Each session is 50 minutes long.
What are my payment options?
Clients can pay for sessions via e-transfer. Receipts are provided for reimbursement by your insurance provider.
What is the free consultation like?
The free, 50-minute consultation is held online through a private and confidential link sent to you once a date and time is booked. You can book this session online, using the “Book Now” button at the bottom of this page. During the session, I will ask you to share more about yourself, why you’re thinking about therapy, and what your goals are. I will also talk more about my approach.
Together, we can decide on whether this is the right fit. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions.
Who are your clients?
My clients are mostly working professionals from multicultural backgrounds. They may be struggling with difficult life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety (social, generalized, postpartum), panic attacks, depression, low self-esteem, loneliness, stress, emptiness or lack of motivation, complex trauma, or feeling overwhelmed/run by their emotions.
Clients also want to explore themeselves more deeply and find a sense of purpose.
What is the session fee?
I offer a sliding scale to clients from $100 to $140/session. This is something we can discuss during the intial consultation.
What is your cancellation policy?
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
